How we work

A working module in weeks, not a big-bang launch.

The reasonable fear about custom software is that it takes a year and never arrives. So we deliver in phases: the first thing we build is whatever hurts most today.

The five phases

  1. 01

    We listen to your process

We sit with the people who do the work, not only with the ones who run it. We want to see the spreadsheet they keep outside the system: the real problem is usually in there.

  2. 02

    We design and validate

We show you how it would look before building it. Fixing a drawing costs an afternoon; fixing a built system costs weeks.

  3. 03

    We build in phases

The first module goes live in weeks and you start using it for real. What we learn from that use changes what we build next.

  4. 04

    We train your team

A system only one person understands is a risk to your company. We train the people who will use it every day.

  5. 05

    We evolve with you

When your operation changes, the system changes. No waiting for somebody else next release.

What we are almost always asked

Is it not more expensive than buying a ready-made system?

The licence is rarely the real cost. Add the per-user licences month after month, the modules you pay for and never use, the consultant who charges to half-fit the product, and above all the hours your team spends every month doing by hand what the system will not do. Put it all together and the conversation changes.

How long does it take?

It depends on scope, but we do not do big-bang launches. We agree which module hurts most and that one goes live in weeks. From there we keep going in phases, with the system already earning its keep while it grows.

What if one day you disappear?

The code is yours and it is documented, your data exports whenever you want, and the repository can be in your name. It is a fair question and the answer has to be verifiable, not a promise.

Do you work with systems we already have?

Yes. Often the answer is not to replace everything but to connect what already works and rewrite only what holds you back.

Where is the system hosted?

Wherever suits you: your own server or the cloud. Because everything is web-based, your team signs in from any browser with nothing to install.

Shall we talk about your process?

Tell us how you work today and we will tell you frankly whether we can help.
